Jonathan Davies is an entrepreneur based in Birmingham where he is currently studying for a degree. His first business dealings were as a child when he created a village newspaper and a car washing business (to take advantage of the hosepipe ban) in order to save up for his first computer.

Since then, he has developed a firm interest in the web and it's ability to create communities and movements. Today, helps small and medium size businesses create authentic, and appropriate web presences. Jonathan has strong principles and believes in confronting the brutal facts. However, he mediates this with a firm sense of compromise.


My interests in technology and business innovation have led me on a path that is relentlessly focused on two fronts:

  1. How has the advent of new technologies allowed communication that is more efficient and more importantly of greater meaning. 
  2. How as an organisation grows, can technology and communications strategy be used to counter the seemingly inevitable bureaucracy  and innovation stagnation.



IMSL - Web Manager

August 2010 - Present (UK)

Developed two versions of the IMSL website, helped form social media strategy and internal social media guidelines. Currently guide content strategy for website and manage IMSL's day-to-day web acitivites.

Also developed IMSL Datasets, a website for disseminating intelligence related downloads for registered users.


January 2012 - June 2012 (Australia)

Developed brand new, modern responsive website with support for a vast catalogue of products and services. Helped produce print marketing documents. Also supported both Explosive Detection Dog Training Programme and Maintenance Contracts for the Australian Defence Force.
